Julio Monge has been performing for over twenty years on stage, film, and television. During his long career, he has had the pleasure of working with some of America‘s finest talent including Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein, Chita Rivera, Julie Andrews, Meryl Streep, Ann Reinking, Gwen Verdon, Paul Simon, Ruben Blades, and others.
On Broadway, Julio has performed in several productions including Jerome Robbins‘ Broadway, Fosse (available on DVD), Man of La Mancha, Paul Simon‘s The Capeman, Lincoln Center‘s Twelfth Night, Victor Victoria, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
As a classical actor, he has acted at the prestigious Joseph Papp‘s New York Shakespeare Festival and productions include Pericles, Henry VIII, Much Ado About Nothing, and Antony and Cleopatra directed and starring Vanessa Redgrave. His numerous television credits include Law and Order, Mad About You, and 100 Center Street. Julio studied at the University of Puerto Rico and currently lives in Harlem, New York City.
